Hensall Station

   This is the original station building which is still beautifully kept.  Hensall is located in North Yorkshire of the former Wakefield, Pontefract & Goole Railway (WP&GR) which was opened in 1848 by which time it had already been taken over by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway (L&YR).  A small plaque on the side of the building is testament to this heritage.
