The High Speed Train (HST) also known as the Intercity 125, is made up of either
7 or 8 mark 3 coaches with a Class 43 locomotive on either end. Originally
built in the 1970's these trains are still in active service today and in fact provide
some of the most reliable stock on the UK network. Used by a number of train
operating companies (TOC's) they can be found on the East Coast Mainline, Midland
Mainline, and Great Western routes.
Here I present some of my best HST photographs. Due to where I live they are
all on the East Coast Mainline.
