Selby Road Swing Bridge

  This swing bridge allows the main road to cross the River Ouse at Selby.  It is situated just a hundred metres or so from the Selby Rail Swing Bridge.  During the floods of 2000 the water actually flowed over parts of the bridge.   For most of it's life it was a toll bridge and is still known as the toll bridge locally.
