Poznan Cathedral 1

  The first cathedral built on this site was in the 12th century.  A gothic cathedral was constructed in the early part of the 15th century, but was destroyed at the end of the Second World War in 1945.  Some of the previous structure survives and can be seen at the bottom right hand side of the building.  Other preserved sections of the previous cathedral can be found in the crypt.
