Gdansk Waterfront

  One of Poland's major cities, Gdansk has a great deal of history.  It witnessed the first shots of the Second Worldthe War and beginings of democracy in Poland after years of Soviet rule. The city sits at the mouth of the Motława River and serves as Poland's biggest sea port accepting ships from the Baltic Sea.
