Poland has a great deal to offer in terms of architecture. It has many ancient
buildings such as the castle at Bytow which now functions as a hotel (Hotel Zamek).
Cities such as Warsaw, Gdansk and Poznan suffered terrible damage during the
Second World War, but have been rebuilt to recreate the original with remarkable
care. In many countries concrete buildings would have been thrown up as a
quick fix.
