Lisbon (Lisboa) is the capital of Portugal since 1147, Lisbon is situated
on the banks of the River Tagus. It has a great deal of history and is one
of the oldest cities in Europe. The castle shown here 'Castelo de San Jorge'
was built in 1147 as the home of the Portuguese royal family.
