Graz

The city of Graz is the second biggest in Austria.  It is also the capital of the federal province of Styria in southern Austria.  The river Mur runs through the centre of this ancient city.  In days gone by it occupied a meeting point of trade routes.  The city contains a mix of both old and new buildings.  Some of the newer buildings not entirely in keeping with the old town of Graz status as a UNESCO world heritage site.
